Currently, more than 4,000 students are studying in a wide range of different degree programmes in the Faculty of Business Management and Social Sciences. Academic study at University of Applied Sciences Osnabrück is characterised by progression through study programmes which have been well organised in advance with small study groups of 35 students at the most, direct close contact with the professors and other teaching staff and intensive care of the students by departmental staff. As a rule, these very good study conditions guarantee successful completion of studies within the prescribed normal duration of studies of 6 semesters in the case of Bachelor programmes and a further 4 semesters in the case of Master programmes.

The degree programmes are assigned to five profiles, which reflect the main focuses of the education in the Faculty of Business Management and Social Sciences:

• Business and Management
• International Programmes
• Health and Social Studies
• Public Management
• Business Law

In all of these profiles there are offers for full-time students who want to gain a first degree, as well as programmes for working people who already have a degree and want to continue their education. Moreover guest students from all over the world spend one or more semesters in Osnabrück.
